Learning vocabulary and its high use is an art many of us don’t know how to master. At first, we learn wrong words. Our mind can store millions of words, but what if we do not use those words in our daily life? All would be useless. So, the first step is to learn the right vocabulary. For example, kids learn easy words at an early age. But unfortunately, at schools, they are asked to memorize difficult words written by another writer and forget those words.
Recycling Vocabulary
The second step is to recycle the vocabulary. That means, a teacher should conduct activities during the course. After six or seven days, there should be a test for the kids, which will help them keep those words in mind. Thirdly, teachers and parents should encourage the kids to use vocabulary in real-life situations. They would feel relaxed and more comfortable speaking those words outside the classroom, in corridors, or in any other place. Moreover, listening to language plays an important role in keeping the vocabulary fresh. For example, you can watch videos on YouTube on the same topic, like “Kids Behavior.” You will notice that the same words are used but in different contexts.

Remember that pauses, chunks, and gestures are parts of communication. English language learners often relate fluency with speed, which means how many words they speak in a particular time span. For instance, if I speak 20 words in one minute while my friend speaks 60 words in the same minute, my friend might be considered more fluent than me. Well, fluency is not the speed of communication; rather, it is a flow. We may stop for a while, listen to others, or get interrupted by others, which stops or destroys the tempo of fluency. Now, I would like to discuss some tips that can really help you improve your fluency.
Word Association Technique
Psychologists use this technique to make their patients speak, especially those having psychological problems. They show similar pictures or words to link the ideas connected with those words. During this training, looking at the images is really important because our mind makes images while speaking. We only get stopped when our mind stops giving us the images. The people who observe things deeply are more fluent in other languages.
